Do you find it hard to say no to chocolate? Do you indulge a little too often in sugary, high fat foods? An ice cream here, some chips there, a few too many squares of chocolate? Well stop your “junk’ intake for 7 days! I started Monday the 19th November. I’m eating healthy low fat meals and obstaining from my usual daily chocolate intake. It’s difficult, but do-able! I feel hungrier, and need to eat something every 3 hours to keep my metabolism up. I’m snacking on raw almonds, a few cubes of reduced fat fetta, tubs of reduced fat yogurt, and drinking heaps of water.

Come on!! You can do it too!

This is a good way to set goals and achieve them every 7 days. So week 1 is going cold turkey on ‘junk’. Week 2 I will allow a few rewards……..yes chocolate!! Maybe some ice cream!

My goal is to lose some fat. I will keep you posted on my progress. Let me know if you want to take up this challenge, and don’t hesitate to ask for help/tips.

Stairs are a great way to work out. So where do you think the best stair case is in Sydney’s Inner West? Any suggestions? Drop me a comment and let me know what you think.

rush2getfit Bootcamp is now recruiting and will be running soon. Enjoy the outdoors and day light saving!! Here is your chance to get fit and build strength. Bootcamp is a great way to get into exercise, meet new people, or just to add a little variety to your current training program. Sessions are an hour long and will be held at Drummoyne Park. Park your car at the Boat Ramp car park.

COST - $15 for each 1hr session. Sessions will be held twice a week. You will be able to buy a 4 session pack for $60. Payments are upfront. You can attend any session you like, until your vouchers run out. If you want to attend casually it’s $20 a session.

Times will be after work 6:30pm-7:30pm

Days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays
