It’s a little harder over Christmas and New Year to eat sensibly, but still keeping aware of the food choices that we make is important. Just keep up the exercise and you’ll be right. 4-5 times a week and you’ll be sure to burn all those unwanted calories.
I have lost a kilo!! YAY!! So my eating plan is working. I’m eating a lot, also exercising 5 times a week and staying away from high fat foods. I will continue this regime for another 4 weeks and keep you updated. Keeping a food diary has helped me a lot. I kept one for 3 days and wrote down everything that I consumed. (You gotta be honest with yourself!) It really worked *_* It stopped me from eating that extra biscuit, or piece of chocolate because I didn’t want to write it down. So keeping a food diary is a good motivational tool for staying on track.
Still being really good with chocolate!! I allowed myself 2 days of eating a few sweet things.
I survived the first week. It was a little hard to not eat any chocolate but I did it. It’s now Thursday and I have had a few treats…..a handful of M&Ms, some mango gelato (yummy). I think I can have one more treat on Saturday and that’s it for week 2. It’s getting easier to say no and not think about my monsterous cravings.
Do you find it hard to say no to chocolate? Do you indulge a little too often in sugary, high fat foods? An ice cream here, some chips there, a few too many squares of chocolate? Well stop your “junk’ intake for 7 days! I started Monday the 19th November. I’m eating healthy low fat meals and obstaining from my usual daily chocolate intake. It’s difficult, but do-able! I feel hungrier, and need to eat something every 3 hours to keep my metabolism up. I’m snacking on raw almonds, a few cubes of reduced fat fetta, tubs of reduced fat yogurt, and drinking heaps of water.
Come on!! You can do it too!
This is a good way to set goals and achieve them every 7 days. So week 1 is going cold turkey on ‘junk’. Week 2 I will allow a few rewards……..yes chocolate!! Maybe some ice cream!
My goal is to lose some fat. I will keep you posted on my progress. Let me know if you want to take up this challenge, and don’t hesitate to ask for help/tips.
