About Rasha Ismail and rush2getfit
Welcome to rush2getfit Personal Training.

My name is Rasha Ismail and I’ve been on my own fitness journey since July 2006. I’m qualified as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer from The Australian Institute of Fitness and registered with Fitness Australia. I’ve also completed the Tomohawk I.C.E. Indoor Cycling course, am a Thump Boxing Fitness Instructor, and have undergone a Sports Exercise and Nutrition Course...just to name a few.
Before being a Personal Trainer I was a High School Teacher. I taught English and History for a few years, then travelled to Japan to teach English for a year. Upon my return to Sydney I tried some Primary School teaching and also a few private English Language Colleges before realising that teaching just wasn't the career for me. Janine, my good friend (and career mentor) suggested that I would make a good Personal Trainer, so I gave The Australian Institute of Fitness a call and the rest is history. I now run my own Personal Training Business and couldn't be happier!
When the weather permits, I train clients outdoors, and also hold indoor training sessions at Castlereagh Aquatic & Fitness, 199 Castlereagh Street Sydney. And when I'm not conducting Personal Training sessions, I'm teaching Spin classes. To relax I love to read. There's nothing better than being at home with a good book and a nice cup of tea.
As a fitness professional I understand the importance of overall health and wellbeing, and aim to get people feeling good about themselves and their bodies. Regular cardio vascular and strength training is essential for a healthy heart, strong bones and an alert mind. So go on…rush 2 get fit!
